If you’ve never played Britannia before, never fear, it’s easy to get started and – because the game has had earlier editions – it’s also easy to find out more about gameplay!
Your first port of call should be our gameplay videos on the Kickstarter campaign page. These walk you through a nation turns in both Classic and Duel Britannia. And then check out our forthcoming update ‘Lew’s Quick Guide: How to Play Britannia’, written by the game’s designer.
You can also read up on Britannia on Wikipedia, Boardgamegeek (for previous editions), and for our new PSC Games edition. Other reviews can be found online, and if you own the book Hobby Games: The 100 Best, you’ll find Tom Dalgliesh’s game of choice is Britannia!
Remember that our components are different to earlier editions of the game, and that the rules have evolved over time (so if you read a review of the 1986 edition, a few changes have been made over time).
