Wrapping up the Britannia Kickstarter campaign

We completed fulfilment of Britannia about a month ago, so it is now time to wrap up our campaign. BackerKit surveys are now closed and we will stop regularly monitoring the comments on this campaign.

US & Canada Shipping update

Hello Britannia fans,

We have a very quick update for you today to let you know that fulfilment for the US & Canada began last Friday and will be completed by the end of the week! We hope that the game will be well worth the wait.

For backers in other areas, all packages were shipped by the time of our last update on 24 August. Some packages are taking a little longer in some areas of Europe, so please be patient if yours is not with you yet. For destinations farther from us like Australia and New Zealand, please allow additional time for shipping. There is no tracking info for these games shipped from our UK warehouse.

Shipping Update - US & Canada Timing, Rest of the World Complete

We’re back with another shipping update today.

Here’s the latest:

•  Games for all destinations except the US & Canada: Fulfilment is now complete! All games have been shipped from the UK for all destinations aside from the US and Canada. We finished up a few days early so backers in the UK and Europe should have received their games by now.
•  Games for the US & Canada: Unfortunately, the boxes of Kickstarter exclusives were separated in shipping and have caused an additional delay as we have missed our fulfilment window with QML. All of the exclusives have now been received, however, and we are slotted for early September. The good news is that QML is prepared and shipping will only take 3-4 days once it begins. We will post another update once fulfilment begins in the US & Canada. As we are very close to fulfilment beginning, address change requests will no longer be possible after today.

We’ve added a PDF of the rulebook along with two printable scorecards (classic and duel modes) on our website and BGG.

Shipping Update – Exclusives received!

Good news, backers!

We received the long-awaited exclusive figures yesterday at our UK warehouse and fulfilment for the UK and ‘Rest of the World’ will begin next week.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Games for all destinations except the US & Canada: Fulfilment will begin around the middle of next week. We will be shipping games as quickly as we can. You will not receive tracking information. Please allow for transit times of about 3-5 days for the UK, 5-10 days for Europe, and 7-21 days for the rest of the world.
• Games for the US & Canada: The Kickstarter exclusive minis are on their way from China and should be received in about a week. Fulfilment will begin ASAP once they are received. You will receive a shipping notification from our partner QML. We will post another update when US fulfilment begins.

July Shipping Update

We said we’d be back with an update when the ships reached port, and so here we are with the latest update for Britannia.

As so often is the case with shipping updates, there’s a bit of good news and bad news.

First the bad news. We were originally going to make the Kickstarter Exclusive plastic figures in-house using the same technology that produces the miniature wargaming figures for our other lines. With the pandemic greatly reducing our in-house production capacity, we realized we would no longer be able to complete this work ourselves in a timely fashion. We were able to act quickly and have the figures produced, but they will not arrive until very early in August.

The good news is that we are in the home stretch now. We will have the miniatures on-hand in about three weeks and will begin fulfilment from the UK and the US right away. Games will be shipped to Kickstarter backers first, before any games are headed to retail.
