Thanks to you – our backers on this campaign – we are delighted to say that our Kickstarter project has been successfully funded! Thank you very much indeed for supporting this new edition of Britannia.
What happens now?
PSC Games’ next tasks are to:
- Prepare our pledge manager survey to send out to you all in the next few weeks. Using the pledge manager, you’ll be able to confirm your address and add optional buys, and the finalised shipping costs to your country will be shown.
- Finalise the changes unlocked by the Kickstarter. We’ve factored in some time for this already, so we hope this won’t add additional time to our production schedule.
- Send everything for the game to our manufacturer to get production under way. Our current target shipping date is May 2020.
Your tasks are to:
- Wait for the pledge manager survey, and then confirm your address, select and pay for any optional buys, and pay for your shipping. Please do this promptly as there is a tight turnaround between the Kickstarter ending and the game being delivered!
- That’s all!
We’ll post an update when we send the pledge manager survey, so you will know to check your email account for it.
We’re going to keep you up to date with progress via occasional Kickstarter updates. We don’t want to overload you with constant updates, but we will ensure that you are sent our most important news between now and the shipping date.
Once again, thanks for getting behind our Kickstarter campaign and for helping to bring this new edition of Britannia into being. Expect to receive our pledge manager survey in the next couple of weeks.

This is just a quick note to keep your eyes peeled...
In the last couple of hours of many Kickstarter campaigns, a few Early Bird openings often come up for grabs.
So if you already have an Invader Pledge, check on the campaign page whether a Raider Pledge has become available and you’ll save yourself £5 (which you can then put towards the cardboard armies optional buy!) if you swap over to it. Happy hunting!

Well done everybody - the final 48 hour surge has unlocked a second rulebook for all backers. This has been a popular stretch goal on some of our previous projects, as it means there is always a rulebook within reach.
We're approaching the final 24 hours now so let's see what happens next...
A note on leader miniatures

A few people have been confused by the leader miniature stretch goals, so we thought we should highlight this: the core game does already come with plastic leader miniatures – without these, you couldn’t play Britannia!
The stretch goal leaders are ‘special’ miniatures that can be swapped in for the generic leader miniatures included in the box. So the game isn’t incomplete without the unlocked leaders.
In the game box, you’ll find two leader miniatures for each player colour (so 8 in total). These use the Bob Naismith sculpt shown below, broadly based on a statue of Alfred the Great in Winchester (UK).
